Hi all,

as I understand one often uses LFM or CW pulses in connection
with radar/SAR systems. My question is, are there any procedures
on how to design several of these pulses who are all orthogonal
to each others ?

Or is this a more difficult issue and one often relies on
pulses where the corss-correlation is low ?
References will also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Learn about orthogonal functions from an applied math book. Learn about
hermitian operators, eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Given independent
functions, they can be orthogonalized.
