The IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems (AES) has
dozens of articles on logarithmic CFAR.

I've already checked them and other journals as well. But I could get
only 3 papers relevent to log CFAR. Can you please suggest any other
journals.
Also any tips on "VHDL IMPLEMENTATION"???

IEEE AES is still the best source. You might look at this book also:

Minkler, G. (1990), CFAR: The Principles of Automatic Radar Detection in
Clutter. Magellan Book Co., 1990.
