Dear group

I am looking for schematics etc. for building my own ground penetrating
radar for location of archeaological objects (in cooperation with
archaeologists, no unauthorized digging!).

My background is a electronics/radar engineer education (Danish Airforce)
and a MSc. in telecommunications/optics, so I am conficent that I will be
able to build a ground penetrating radar. But if home made construction
plans are available would it avoid me to"reinvent the wheel":-) I have
access to electronics labs, workshops, equipment etc..

Best regards

I would also be intersted in looking at the software and hardware components
necessary for higher frequency applications in GPR

What kind of transmitters and receivers are used and how is the signal
digitised and converted to a screen output matrix

Who is making such parts and who is involved in this type of development??
